**Please note that the Home Alone Safety Program is not a babysitting course. Children taking the Home Alone course will learn safety information related to caring for themselves. The recommended age to be able to start to care for younger children is 12 years old. 11 year old's may take a babysitting course to prepare them for caring for young children when they turn 12. Babysitting courses are available through St. John's Ambulance or the Red Cross.
