Volunteer Opportunities

Grande Prairie & Area Safe Communities values the work that our volunteers do for us!  

Fundraising Volunteers 
​Bingo Cage Workers & Floor Workers

Location:  Grande Bingo Society Hall, 10112 102 Ave 

​Fundraising Bingo 

Here is a list of our upcoming Bingo fundraising dates. 
Each event requires 9 volunteers. Bingo events run from 5pm to 10pm.
If you can volunteer to help with one or more of these Bingo events please contact us!

Please note that all Floor Workers need to be prepared to walk around the hall for the duration of their shift.

Grande Prairie & Area Safe Communities fundraises with one Bingo event per month in 2019.  We appreciate your help. 

Volunteers must:
​
Be 18 years of age or older.
Be friendly, reliable, and responsible
​Wear comfortable walking shoes

Arrive at shift location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start
Manage money & account for bingo sales
Perform additional tasks as required during shift

Thank you to all of the Volunteers that helped us achieve our goals in 2019.  Your help has enabled us to continue to work towards preventing injuries through safety education and campaigns in our community.

We need you! We always have room for more volunteers.


Program Support Volunteers: Help program facilitators keep the programs running smoothly.
Administrative Support: Is anybody's filing up to date?  We could use your help with this!
Maintenance: If you are handy there are always a few little things that need fixing.  
Fundraising:  Fundraising Committee, Casinos, Bingos, Fundraising events, and other opportunities.
Special Events:  Many hands make light work.  We will always appreciate your time and kindness.
Youth Opportunities:  Help out during summer programs, Safety City Halloween, Home Alone Program Support, Office and Administrative support.

Please note that any volunteers that assist us with programs involving children or youth will be required to provide the following before their first volunteer shift.
Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Child and Youth Intervention Information Check
For our volunteers, we can provide a letter to waive the fees on the criminal records check.
