Volunteer Opportunities
Grande Prairie & Area Safe Communities values the work that our volunteers do for us!
We need you! We always have room for more volunteers.
Board Members: Help make an impact by leading the organization to make change in our community!
Program Support Volunteers: Help program facilitators keep the programs running smoothly.
Administrative Support: Is anybody's filing up to date? We could use your help with this!
Maintenance: If you are handy there are always a few little things that need fixing.
Fundraising: Fundraising Committee, Casinos, Bingos, Fundraising events, and other opportunities.
Special Events: Many hands make light work. We will always appreciate your time and kindness.
Youth Opportunities: Help out during summer programs, Safety City Halloween, Home Alone Program Support, Office and Administrative support.
Please note that any volunteers that assist us with registered programs involving children or youth will be required to provide the following before their first volunteer shift.
Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Child and Youth Intervention Information Check
For our volunteers, we can provide a letter to waive the fees on the criminal records check.
