The 2015 Safety City Halloween event was a huge success because of all of the wonderful support of these businesses and organizations!

Thank you for helping to create a safe Halloween activity for children in the Grande Prairie Area!

Bike Rodeos

2014
Bike Road-E-O's took place on July 19th and August 9, 2014.

Children brought their bicycles and helmets to Safety City where Ernie's completed a mechanical inspection of their bikes, Alberta Health Services completed a helmet check and City of Grande Prairie Enforcement Services taught bike safety skills. The children were able to practice their skills in the safe environment of Safety City and enter to win a bicycle from Canadian Tire.

Admission was $2 and proceeds went to Safety City programs. Over 200 children attended these events!

Thank you to all of our supporters and volunteers for helping to make these events a success!

2013
Summer Safety Festival Bike Road-E-O took place on July 13th, 2013.

Children brought their bicycles and completed the Road-E-O which consisted of 3 stations:
Ernie's Sports Experts completed a bike mechanical check, Alberta Health Services completed a helmet check and City of Grande Prairie Enforcement Services completed a bike safety course.

The children were able to practice their new safety skills in Safety City while parents checked out local vendors. There was also a bouncy castle & face painting on site.

Admission was $2 and proceeds went toward supporting Safety City programs.

Big thanks to Canadian Tire, who donated two bikes for the Grand Prize Draw! Any child that completed the Bike Road-E-O was entered for the Grand Prize Draw.  We also would like to extend our thanks to Ernie's Sports Experts, Alberta Health Services, City of Grande Prairie Enforcement Services for providing these great services to the families attending the event.
