Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with team members to create, plan, promote, and supervise events; i.e. birthday parties,private lessons, drop-ins, and programs
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Ensuring the safe and efficient use of program material
- Maintaining a clean, orderly and safe workspace
- Collecting, evaluating, and reporting data.
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
Must meet all eligibility requirements as outlined by the Canada Summer Jobs Program.
- Comfortable with public speaking (speaking in front of a group)
- Leadership and teaching skills
- Enjoys working with children
- Able to work effectively in a team or independently
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Eager to learn and embrace new challenges
- Proficient in English written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in bicycle riding and handling
- Flexible with scheduling
- First Aid Certification is an asset
- Possesses strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Able to complete background checks, including a vulnerable sector check and a Child and YouthIntervention Check.
- Willing to follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
